My Best Work
On this page, you can find my best work from this technology course. Enjoy looking through what I liked doing the most!
Digital Citizenship Lesson Plan
For my digital citizenship lesson plan, I created an EdPuzzle for the students in order to review the lesson as a whole. I picked a video about internet safety that would teach them and review the concepts that were taught in the lesson plan. The questions that I asked had to do with the video, but also were general questions about what they learned in the lesson that day. I enjoyed creating this because it was an educational way for students to be assessed. I will use this in my future classroom for end of the lesson assessments. This lesson plan would fall under the the engagement E because it offers an active learning experience for the students.
Computational Thinking Lesson Plan
For my computational thinking lesson plan, I created an infographic for my students that would teach them concepts that they would need to know for later activities. I enjoyed creating this infographic because I was able to incorporate my own pictures and words in the way that I wanted to explain and teach it. I will incorporate this into my future classroom by using infographics to explain or teach new material. This would fall under the effectiveness E because it will meet the standards and learning goals successfully.
Productivity Badge: Ebook
For my productivity badge, I created an Ebook about the water cycle. I thought this was a great tool to use because it allowed me to insert pictures and words and place them wherever I wanted on the page. I was able to create my own book and illustrate it the way I wanted it to look like. I also liked how the website had to opportunity to read the book aloud online. I will use this in my future classroom by reading the book to the students when they are learning the material. This badge would fall under the enhancement E because it enriches the learning environment of the students.
Hour of Code Badge
My hour of code badge was one that I enjoyed completing. I thought it was a fun way to understand the basics of coding and the website that I used had many different themes to coding. The one that I completed was a Frozen theme and it was a very cute idea. Although this activity may be too advanced for kindergarten students to grasp, I enjoyed learning about the basics of coding that I may be able to teach my students in the future. This badge falls under the engagement E because it offers an active learning experience for all students.
